As the College of Business and Public Policy continually strives to engage students with our programs, services, and community partners, the student advisory board will provide ideas and feedback to the Dean regarding multiple facets of the College’s operations, including program and curriculum offerings, technology, policies, career-related options and decisions, and outreach.

Join legal scholar Robert Gasaway Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at 5 p.m. in UAA/APU Consortium Library Room 307 for a presentation focused on how modern thought can help improve our understanding of current events and constitutional controversies, including prominent decisions of the United States Supreme Court. A discussion will follow led by Noble laureate Vernon Smith.

On Wednesday, July 18th, the University of Alaska Anchorage along with the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) hosted a delegation from the National University of Mongolia (NUM). The group’s visit further develops the relationship between the two universities that began with an Academic Cooperative Agreement last November.

Dr. Darren Prokop's latest industry practitioner article can now be read in the June 6, 2018 edition of Modern Materials Handling. This work was also published earlier this year in Supply Chain Management Review, a sister periodical. The article discusses both the problems and opportunities for shippers and carriers when they fully understand how economies of scale works in the marketplace.

A team of two students-- Ashley Roylance, and Kylee Miller-- competing against 1,481 other college teams placed fourth in The Capstone Business Competition Return on Sales. The Capstone Business Competition is an ongoing challenge (and a feature of the course BA A460-Marketing Management).
