  • Kareena Bathija

    Kareena Bathija

    Kareena was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, and is currently a third-year Accounting major at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and experimenting with various forms of visual art. Through her involvement on campus as a Residential Advisor (RA) and a UAA Honors College Leadership track member, she has dedicated much of her time at UAA to cultivating meaningful relationships with her peers in mentor and mentee roles.

    Looking forward, Kareena plans to attend graduate school and work towards attaining her CPA certification while building a career in the investigative accounting field. The Tom Case Leadership Fellows Program allows her to learn invaluable professional skills, connect with experts in her field, and expand her network while establishing new connections in the community.

  • Hannah Postlewaite

    Hannah Postlewaite

    Hannah was born and raised in Vermont and moved to Alaska the day after high school graduation. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management at the College of Business and Public Policy while working for the University’s Department of Land Management. She plans to further her education beyond her bachelor's degree and continue gaining experience working for the University of Alaska.

    Hannah wanted to become a part of the Tom Case Leadership Fellows because she has continually sought opportunities for growth in leadership and connecting with like-minded people throughout her college experience. Through this program, she hopes to gain more insights for professional development and create meaningful connections within the Anchorage community.

  • Shelly Yocum

    Shelly Yocum

    Shelly was raised in Oahu and has lived in Anchorage for seven years. She is a Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Business Management -with a concentration in Property Management and Real Estate. She currently works as a Community Director with Weidner Property Management and enjoys working with people and helping them to find a home. After completing her degree, she looks forward to exploring different opportunities within the company.

    Shelly wanted to be a part of the Tom Case Leadership Fellows program because it is a wonderful opportunity to grow as a leader with the guidance of an experienced mentor. She looks forward to building new relationships with her peers at UAA and using this experience as a tool to give back to the community in the future.
