Congratulations to Annette Evans Smith

Annette Evans Smith, President and CEO of the Alaska Native Heritage Center, has been nominated to the National Council on the Arts by President Barack Obama. Annette has served on the Alaska Native Organizational Management Advisory Committee for the College of Business and Public Policy since 2011 and we are very proud of her nomination to this prestigious role.

College of Business and Public Policy Professor Sandra G. Ehrlich received the 2016 UAA CAFÉ Oh Wow! Award. In recognition of Exemplary Service for Advancing Faculty Excellence, CBPP Associate Professor of Management & Marketing, Dr. Sandra G. Ehrlich, received the 2016 Faculty Development Award from the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFÉ) for advancing Team-Based Learning Faculty Development initiatives at UAA.

ALCCDC Winners ‘Team A’

Combined MIS/CS Student Team to Compete at National Competition in San Antonio, Texas!

UAA’s combined team of both Management Information Systems (MIS) and Computer Science (CS) students won first place at the 2016 At-Large regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (ALCCDC). The Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) has formally invited UAA’s winning team to compete in the 2016 National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (NCCDC) being held in San Antonio, Texas.
