Sessions

CBPP and the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) have developed 10 short, interactive sessions to highlight our programs, research, and quality education. Choose from a variety of presentations and learn something new about opportunities for students and how CBPP is making an impact in our community and the state.

Session 1 (5:45 PM - 6:05 PM)

  • Intentional Creation of the Future Workforce of Alaska

Our state must be intentional in its efforts to establish a skilled and growing workforce vital to encouraging investment in our state and securing our economy for the future.   • Kiviq – A Market Trading Game

    UAA faculty designed a market trading game to teach students about the fundamentals of supply and demand. Kiviq is being used in classrooms across the country and around the world. Join us during this session to try your hand at Kiviq and better understand economics by seeing the market.
