Kevin Berry joined ISER as an assistant professor of economics in January 2017, with a joint appointment in UAA's economics department. His research interests include natural capital, endogenous risk, dynamic optimization, social-ecological systems, bio-economic modeling, and applied econometrics.

ANCSA: Diversity of Alaska Native Corporations; February 23rd 2018

Alaska Native Corporations were formed when Congress passed the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971 in response to a rise in native activism and pressure from oil companies to smooth the path for a trans-Alaska pipeline after oil was discovered in 1968.

The College of Business and Public Policy's Tom Case Leadership Fellows Program pairs high-performing CBPP students with a mentor in the Anchorage business community, giving students the opportunity to learn about real-world leadership from local business leaders.
