John Nofsinger Named Dean of the College
Dr. John Nofsinger has been selected as dean of the UAA College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP). He has served as interim dean of CBPP since spring 2020 and as professor of finance and the Seward Chair in international finance at UAA.

CBPP Awards More Than $75,000 in Scholarship Funds
This spring the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) awarded more than $75,000 in scholarships to 46 students from 27 different scholarship funds. Due to the generosity of donors to those funds, CBPP students have the opportunity every year to apply for scholarships that help defray tuition costs.

Leadership and Balancing Priorities
Patrick Rider finished his Master of Business Administration degree in December 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. He had been working toward this goal since 2015, when he was inspired to learn more about leadership.
