CBPP's 2023 Student Celebration Honors Student Accomplishments

During the College of Business and Public Policy's Student Celebration on April 14th, the graduates of the 2022-23 Tom Case Leadership Fellows and Leadership Fellows Academy, as well as the 2023 Beta Gamma Sigma inductees, were announced.

Tom Case Leadership Fellows and Leadership Fellows Academy

The Leadership Fellows Program gives business students the opportunity to observe and learn from the board of directors of a nonprofit corporation as well as provide a year-long, one-on-one mentorship with prominent leaders in the Anchorage community. The Middle College Academy Fellows are introduced to leadership concepts, preparing them to become future leaders in Alaska. At the ceremony, all of the Tom Case Leadership Fellows and Academy graduates received certificates and honor cords in recognition of their accomplishments.

Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society

Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest national recognition that an undergraduate or graduate business student at an AACSB-accredited college can achieve, and it is the premier honor society for business students and educators. During the ceremony, the inductees were reminded to embody the values represented by each of the three Greek letters in the Beta Gamma Sigma name: Beta for Honor, Gamma for Wisdom, and Sigma for Earnestness. Dean Nofsinger then presented them individually with certificates and blue and gold Beta Gamma Sigma honor cords.

Congratulations to the 2022-23 Tom Case Leadership Fellows and Leadership Fellows Academy graduates, and the 2023 Beta Gamma Sigma inductees! Your hard work and dedication to your studies and leadership development have paid off, and we are proud to celebrate your achievements.
