The 2017 At Large Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition was held March 24-26. UAA's team, made up of students from CBPP's MIS program; CoEng's Computer Science Program; and UAA Community and Technical College, placed in the top three.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks took 1st place, Honolulu Community College was 2nd, and University of Alaska Anchorage placed 3rd.
The At Large region also includes the University of Maryland University; University of Kansas, Lawrence; University of Kansas, Edwards; University of Hawaii, West Oahu; University of Hawaii, Manoa; Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico; Pennsylvania State University, Altoona; and Kapiolani Community College.
