College of Business and Public Policy MBA Student Mario Roncador certified as SAS Statistical Business Analyst

On October 29th MBA student Mario Roncador successfully passed the professional certification administered by the SAS Institute and earned his title of SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst. This certification provides analyst with depth knowledge and practical experience in ANOVA, linear and logistic regression using the SAS software.
Mario was so excited when he received the exam results: “I’m so happy, I passed the exam with nearly 100% correct answers and [all the hard work has payed off after working] on Business Statistics under Dr. Lu’s guidance. Experts in business intelligence and data mining are [in great demand] in today’s job market and forecasts say that the demand [for] experts will double within the next five years. This certification proves mastery in both statistics and business skills and I’m sure this is going to pay off in my future career.”
