1st Annual Alaska Native Business Summit
You are invited to the 1st Annual Alaska Native Business Summit on October 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the UAA/APU Consortium Library, 3rd Floor. Together, we will work to identify barriers and develop realistic solutions and policy suggestions to move the Alaska economy forward. This summit is designed to facilitate meaningful dialogue between Alaska Native Corporations, the University of Alaska Anchorage and the State of Alaska. Together we will:
- Connect with the highest-level Alaska Native, state government and University leadership.
- Hear innovative success stories from Alaska Native corporate leaders including: Carl Marrs of Old Harbor Native Corporation, Maver Carey of The Kuskokwim Corporation and Jason Metrokin of Bristol Bay Native Corporation.
- Work with skilled facilitators to identify barriers, develop solutions and explore lasting in-state partnerships.
- Help shape public policy recommendations and research opportunities.
