Notice:

In order to better serve students across all UAA campuses and to provide a clearer pathway into the BBA degree, UAA will move to one AAS in the area of general business. To do so, UAA is revising the AAS General Business degree and suspending admissions of new students to the AAS Small Business Administration. All new students will be directed to the AAS General Business degree, which will serve as the single AAS in general business moving forward.

If you are a student admitted to the AAS Small Business Administration, please do not worry. You will have two (2) years to complete the degree, and all courses required to complete the degree will continue to be offered throughout this period. You may also decide to switch to the AAS General Business degree, which is a very similar degree. All students will have a completion plan that maximizes their credits earned to date.

Whether you decide to stay in the AAS Small Business Administration and complete in two years, or to change majors to the AAS General Business, all admitted AAS Small Business Administration students must set an appointment to meet with an academic advisor to develop a completion plan.

The CBPP College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) Student Advising Center in Anchorage and Student Services at UAA's Matanuska-Susitna College Community Campus will coordinate their efforts on this teach out.
