Terry Fields Recieves IREM 30 Under 30 Award

Terry Fields, Assistant Professor of Management and Marketing, recently received a 2017 Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) 30 Under 30 Award. Terry is the Program Director for the Weidner Property Management and Real Estate Program at the College of Business and Public Policy. He works closely with industry partners to grow the program while attracting students, preparing them for careers in real estate management, and rewarding them with placement opportunities and fast track opportunities to earn valuable industry credentials. He is an active member of IREM and encourages all of his students to take advantage of the networking and resources IREM has to offer members. Terry also serves on IREM’s Student and Academic Outreach Advisory Board playing an important role in identifying strategies to engage students and professors in IREM. Professor Terry Nelson Receives the 2017 OBTS New Educator Award

College of Business and Public Policy’s Professor Terry Nelson was recently awarded the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (OBTS) New Educator Award. The award recognizes promising academics who make a difference in the field of management education through exceptional classroom instruction, educational innovation and cutting-edge promise and creativity through their teaching, scholarship, and/or service.

AMA Alaska Selects Jeri Rubin as Marketing Member of the Month

At the AMA Alaska Chapter April luncheon College of Business and Public Policy Professor Jeri Rubin was inducted as the Marketing Member of the Month. As one of the longest standing and charter members at 29 years, Jeri served on the board for 18 years, 2 years as President and 8 years as Treasurer.
