» Bradford Tuck Senior in Economics Scholarship

To provide support for students enrolled in the Economics program. Recipient must have declared an Economics major or must have interest in economics (12 credits in economic courses). Recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. Recipient must be a junior or senior.


» Diane Olsen Memorial Endowment

The Diane Olsen Scholarship provides financial assistance to junior or senior students at the University of Alaska Anchorage for tuition and other related educational expenses. Recipient must be a declared economics major or have completed 12 credits in economics courses. Recipient must be active in student clubs, student organizations or student governance. Recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. Recipient must be enrolled full-time. Preference will be given to students who are non-traditional.


» Steve Jackstadt Scholarship for New Economic Students

Purpose: To provide scholarships to economics students at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Qualifications:

  • Recipient must be beginning course work to obtain a BA or BBA in economics.
  • Recipient must exhibit motivation and commitment through previous course work, activities, and an essay: “Why I chose to become an Economics Major,” citing their interest in economics and their future aspirations.
  • Recipient must have met the principles requirement in economics, and have completed no more then 9 upper division credits.
  • Recipient must be enrolled full-time. Recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Recipient must be a sophomore or junior.
  • Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and college success.

» College of Business and Public Policy Scholarship

To provide scholarships for students enrolled in any major within the College of Business and Public Policy. Recipient must be enrolled in any major within the College of Business and Public Policy. Recipient must be enrolled full-time. Recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
