BA490/690 AI Concepts & Business Applications Has Concluded Its First Semester

Spring 2019 was the inaugural semester for BA490/690 “AI Concepts & Business Applications”. The course focused on artificial intelligence and how it’s transforming and being leveraged in modern business. Students learned strategies employed by companies leading in AI, and the prospects for its growth. They also covered neural networks, machine learning, robotics, data analytics and different ways AI can be used in business.

The course was developed and lead by Dr. Helena Wisniewski. Dr. Wisniewski served in executive and leadership roles in industry as Corporate Director at Lockheed, a Vice president at Titan and ANSER, and in government with DARPA and the CIA. She was involved in directing the development, advancement, and application of many aspects of AI and is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
